Bharatratna Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in Akola for ‘Lokarpan’ of Shankarlal Khandelwal College Building  

Akola- Since last one year, Shikshan Prasrak Mandal, Godbole plot’s Akola has been celebrating its Golden Jubilee year by arranging various students centered pragrammes. Ceasing the opportunity of Golden Jubilee, S.P.M. Akola handing over its new college building to the service of Nation  at the auspicious hands of Former President of India, renowned world famous scientist, Bharatratna  Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on 21^st May2009 at 6.30 p.m.

          Originator of vision 2020, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam is the most loved and liked personality among the students and his presence in Akola is definitely a moment of great pride for us. On this auspicious occasion, he is going to interact with over 5000 students, parents and dignitaries from different walks of life.

          Due to security reasons, people are requested to attend the event on entry pass issue by society. For the success of the programme, the society has formed different committees and the president Adv. R.K. Deshpande, Vice-President, Shri. Madanlalji Khandelwal, Secretary Shri. Gopalji Khandelwal, MLA Shri. Govardhanji Sharma, Prof. Rajkumarji Chaware, Shri. Shantilaji Khandelwal, Smt. Sunadatai Desai, Sau. Rekhatai Khandelwal, Heads of all institutions, teachers and non-teaching staff are striving ceaselessly.
